Glitter! Nails inc. Battersea

nails inc. 'Battersea' & O.P.I 'The Living Daylights'

A Little Overview!
Ok, I confess,  I do  love nails inc. I'm not a nail polish snob or anything,  I own Barry M and Rimmel and various other brands but when it comes to colour nails inc wins,  hands down.  Today's colour is Battersea, I love the deep Emerald, it's very Wizard of Oz! This is not a watery glitter polish,  it's a highly concentrated full colour glitter, I used a clear base coat (Rimmel) and applied 2 coats. I will say this, its pretty thick so apply the coats as thinly as you possibly can or you'll be waiting hours for it to dry.

Battersea

I used the torch light on my phone to take this photo because,  without light, glitter is dull! It's super sparkly in natural light but  the camera doesn't pick that up very well,  it just goes blurry.

Gorgeous, full colour Sparkle!

Double Glitter!

Now, I like lots of lovely glitter so I used O.P.I, The Living Daylights on top of Battersea. Its a larger,  confetti like glitter in gold, bronze and teal and it really suits the base glitter colour. It goes on so easily and dries brilliantly.  I used one coat because a second would layer up the glitter and the beautiful Battersea would be lost! This is my favourite O.P.I glitter, I love it!
All done!

All the colours sparkle in the light and they compliment each other really well. I finished of with a quick file around the tips to eliminate the rough edges that fine glitter polish can cause and then gave it a coat of clear polish to smooth the surface and help with shine and there you have it, gorgeous glitter nails!
