Sass & Belle

I do love Pinterest and I'm very new to the idea of competitions using this app. I follow Sass & Belle on Facebook (I love the Covent Garden shop and now I'm lucky we have one in Brighton too!) and they had written a post about their Mothers Day competition. All I had to do was follow them on Pinterest and create an inspiring Mothers Day mood board by pinning anything I like and a few bits from their website. Easy!

Well, actually, it's kinda difficult to pin about Mothers day. Christmas, Summer, Festivals and so on would be much easier but I did struggle to think of imaginative things to pin! I finally did it though and it was pretty fun to pin with purpose! You can view my board here: Mothers Day

To my absolute surprise and joy, I won! a lovely £50 voucher to spend on their website (which I did immediately!). I was so excited when this lovely large box of goodies arrived! I got a lot for my money, I spent it very wisely. My favourite items were the lovely photo frame (which i have wanted for ages!), the little bird ornament which I ordered in the pink (they do a blue version too I think) and the cute hanging sign which says 'it's time for an adventure'. They all sit very nicely together on the windowsill in my bedroom.

I also got the Fox ipad case because I LOVE it even though I its too big for my Samsung Tab, I've been using it as a clutch bag!

So, for the time spent pinning - which I do anyway - I got lot's of lovely things. In addition to the 4 things I've mentioned I also got a set of the ditsy vintage suitcases for my Mum because she loved them and a few little stocking fillers to stash away for Christmas (yes, I'm one of those people who shops through the year!). All in all it was well worth it so now I'm on the lookout for more pinning competitions! I've never won anything before!
