Only a Mini Splurge!

After my post last week about my favourite Lipstick, Lolly, I've been desperate to get to Topshop for a new sheer lipstick! I went in with every intention of buying Applause or possibly Alibi as I'd heard good things and I came out with Hunkydory and Matte nails in 'Candy Fox', I could resist! I decided not to take advantage of their current offer of free lip cream when you spend over £15 because I wasn't too keep on the shades and they had 20% off for students so my lovely Mr stepped in and I got both items for £11!

I always have only good things to say about the Sheer Lipsticks, I love the colours, the texture, the shimmer, the Vanilla smell. Hunky Dory does not disappoint, the main colour is Nude and it's got a really lovely shimmer to it. It makes a gorgeous day to day alternative to 'girly' pinks.

Candy Fox is from the new Matte Nails collection, I struggled to pick a colour from the range, I wanted them all! but finally I settled on this one because, although described as Pink it's a actually more of a lovely fresh Peach Colour and I really have a thing about Peach at the moment!

It goes on so well, it isn't plastic or sticky which I thought Matte nail polish might be. I'm completely in love with colour! I used 3 coats to even the colour out a bit, I didn't want any streaks! It dries really quickly and I have no complaints at all. It makes a nice change from my heavily glittered nails! Very spring/summer and I highly recommend it.

I don't normally do Nude/Natural colours, I like pink lips and bright glittery nails but I really am sold on these new peachy toned products!
